Christopher McGee, PA-C, MMSc

As a valued member of The Spine Center of DuPage Medical Group since 2007, Mr. McGee focuses his skills on Degenerative Disease processes of the spine through medical and surgical management. Mr. McGee has an extensive surgical background of over 12 years. He works under the supervision of Dr. Ronjon Paul and Dr. Nicholas Mataragas assisting them in cutting edge-minimally invasive spine surgery. He prides himself in strong patient education delivering quality patient care in both English and Spanish.

Mr. McGee is currently involved in research projects in evaluating post-operative lumbar fusion. As an active member of the group, he assists Dr. Ronjon Paul in mentoring physicians in the XLIF (Extreme Lateral Interbody Fusion) Procedure. He is an advocate for continuing education conducting lectures and presenting case studies for fellow staff.

Mr. McGee is a graduate of the Malcolm X College / John Stroger Cook County Hospital Physician Assistant Program in Chicago, Illinois. He received his Masters Degree in Medical Science from St. Francis University in Loretto, Pennsylvania. He is board certified through the (NCCPA) National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Mr. McGee has maintained his Advance Cardiac Life Support and Basic Life Support Certification through the American Heart Association.

Mr. McGee is a proud member of the following associations: American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), Illinois Academy of Physician Assistants (IAPA), North American Spine Society (NASS), and Physician Assistant for Latino Health (PALH).

He is affiliated with Edward Hospitals and Good Samaritan Hospital.
