Johanna Lange, M.D. Board Certified, Physical Medicine

A talented, board certified physician, Dr. Johanna Lange brings her knowledge of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation to DuPage Medical Group. Dr. Lange's areas of experience include the diagnosis and non-surgical treatment of back and neck problems. Dr. Lange's clinical interests include EMG/NCV studies as well as close management and direction of physical therapy. She also has special interests in other musculoskeletal disorders such as muscle strains, joint pain, tendinitis, peripheral nerve entrapments (like carpal tunnel syndrome) and fibromyalgia. Dr. Lange's compassionate approach to care encompasses all aspects of the patient's life, including physical, emotional and social, so that treatment is tailored for each individual patient.

Dr. Lange completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Chicago. She received her medical degree in 2000 from Loyola Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood. In 2001, she completed her Internship at MacNeal Memorial Hospital in Berwyn. Dr. Lange completed her Residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Michigan Health System where she was the Chief Resident from 2003-2004. Dr. Lange has participated in research about the effects of physical therapy on low back pain and function.

Dr. Lange is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the Illinois Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She is affiliated with Edward, Good Samaritan and Central DuPage Hospitals.
