John Gashkoff M.D. Board Certified, Pain Medicine

Dr. Gashkoff is certified by the American Board of Pain Medicine and the American Board of Anesthesiology. He graduated from the Medical College of Wisconsin and completed his residency at Northwestern University. Since joining the Edward Hospital medical staff in 1994, Dr. Gashkoff participated on multiple hospital committees and has served as Chairman of the Department of Anesthesiology as well as the Director of Pain Management Services.

He was instrumental in developing Edward Hospital’s current pain management program. Additionally, Dr. Gashkoff enjoys teaching medical students at Edward Hospital and continues to lecture on pain management topics throughout the community. He is a member of the International Spinal Injections Society, the American Academy of Pain Medicine, the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians and the American Society of Anesthesiologists.
