Dr. Sayeed is certified by the American Board of Pain Medicine and the American Board of Anesthesiology. He graduated from Loyola University School of Medicine and holds an MBA from Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management. After completing his residency from Rush Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center, he practiced at MacNeal Hospital. While at MacNeal he served as the Director of Pain Management services and the Chairman of Anesthesia. Dr. Sayeed joined Edward Hospital in 1999 and serves on several hospital committees along with teaching medical students. He is a member of the International Spinal Injections Society, the American Academy of Pain Medicine, the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians and the American Society of Anesthesiologists.
